NNC (parent body) Yimchungrii region has refuted the news/article published in local media on May 26 by Z. Royim Yimchungrii as “a shameless lie by this GB and village development board member.”
A press release from Yimchungrii region president Ahoshe Yimchungrii and midan peyu Sheto Yimchungrii stated that, “Z. Royim Yimchungrii mentioning Yimchungrii region support his leadership without any authority name of the region or that of any member” was baseless. The release further stated that Yimchungrii region as a whole condemn once again “this liar Z. Royim who is trying to confuse and mislead the Naga people and the Yimchungrii region in particular.” Region also mentioned that Z. Royim should be condemned by every right thinking people in the Naga homeland as he was confusing and creating enmity with his vested interest. It also stated that Z. Royim was not a Naga leader or fit to be a leader but a GB and VDB member in his native village.
