Former VC NEHU Kiremwati publishes book

A book entitled, “Towards the last day on earth to become the first day in Heaven”, written by former director, Higher and Technical Education and former pro vice chancellor NEHU, Kiremwati was published on his 90th birthday on July 16. 

The book was released by Reverend Asangba, pastor, Kohima Ao Baptist Church at the birthday celebration of the author in Kohima. According to DD report, in the book containing 35 pages, the author shared his experiences, memoirs and knowledge endowed within his long life. 

In his short speech, the author said after his wife passed away 2017, a big vacuum was created in his life, so to fill up he decided to do something which resulted in publishing this book. Kiremwati also said that he was inspired to write the book saying that it would be incomplete for him to think of his vast experiences to be taken to his grave.

Former director School Education, Talitsuba, who his 87th birthday with Kiremwati shared the good days he had with the author of the book. Rukhielhoulie Angami, president of Nagaland Pensioner’s Association (NPA) and Moyithung Odyuo also spoke in the programme.
