Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) has condoled the untimely demise of late Y.Thsankiu Yimchungrü, former YTC president on August 9 at Shamator, after a prolonged illness.
A condolence note from YTC vice president, K. Kiumuhean and secretary, Ato Yimchunger stated that, late Y.Thsankiu Yimchungrü was a tall leader of the Yimchungrü community, who had rendered in various capacities for the welfare of the people and a prominent pioneer leader in many aspects of community life. YTC stated that his untimely demise had created a vacuum and hollowness which will be difficult to fill.
YTC extended condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal rest.
