A consultative meeting of the two groups of Zeliang People’s Organization (ZPO), which was held at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur on Tuesday under the chairmanship of advisor Namri Nchang, has decided to reorganise the ZPO into one unified body.
In order to re-organise ZPO, the meeting has formed an interim committee with Ramdi Meru as convenor, Kezun Ndachung as co-convenor and Joseph Nring, Gaigwang Hegru, D Diswang Zeme as members.
The meeting attended by many senior leaders of Peren district has asked the interim committee to finish the re-organising process by October 31, 2019.
Meanwhile, the house has decided that all subordinate bodies of ZPO would cease to exist with immediate effect.
