District Welfare Officer (DWO) Tuensang L.Tinu Sangtam has informed all beneficiaries under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP): IGNOAP (Old Age) IGNWPS (Widow) IGNDP (Disability) Pension Schemes and Scholarship to Disabled students under the department of Social Welfare that, the payment will be made in the office of Sangsangnyu block from August 19 to 21, Longkim from August 22 to 24, Noksen block from 26 to 28, Shamator from 29 to 31, Chessore from September 2 to 4, Noklak from September 5 to 7, Chare from September 9 to 11 and Thonoknyu from September 12 to 13.
It is further informed that, payment will be released only on production of payment cum-identity booklets of the beneficiaries. In this regard, all the beneficiaries under different schemes of the department have been directed to receive the payments in person or through proper authorised persons during the above stipulated dates. The payments will commence from 9:20 a.m. during all scheduled dates and will be made only in block/project wise for the convenience of the beneficiaries.
