
Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) held a meeting with young agriculture ambassadors from Taiwan at New Delhi on August 24.
A press release from NBDA team member, Dr. Tolto Metha stated that, this was part of the initiative taken by the chief minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio towards establishing an India-Taiwan cooperation in the bamboo sector.
Nagaland team was represented by Joyti Kailash, ACS and principal resident commissioner, Nagaland House, New Delhi and Imtirenla Jamir, mission director, NBDA along with other officials. Taiwan delegation was led Frank Tsay, assistant representative, Taipei Cultural and Economic Centre, New Delhi and Lin, Chih-Hung, deputy director general, Council of Agriculture, Taiwan.
Deliberations were held on short term and long term goals for this cooperation.
