NSRLM block mission management launched in ralan RD block

Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) block mission management was launched on August 30 at Rural Development (RD) block Ralan under Wokha district.

Speaking at the launching programme at Old Ralan Guest House, SDO (Civil) Ralan, Meyazungba encouraged the beneficiaries of NSRLM to develop the spirit of savings and investment for promoting self sustaining groups. BDO & BMM RD block Ralan, Ekonthung said the success of the program depends on teamwork and determination of members. He also asked the members to be honest and trustworthy.
Branch head, IDBI Bank Ralan branch, PH Alexander emphasised on banking norms and asked the Self Help Groups (SHGs) to strictly adhere to National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM)’s “panchsutras” so as to avail credit linkage.
The programme was chaired by AC Ralan block, L. Philip Ezung, invocation was said by Old Ralan Baptist Church Pastor Renbomo Ovung, keynote address was delivered by BPM Ralan block, Chibeni Ngullie, overview of NRLM and its activities was shared by ADPM Wokha, Samuel Kithan, vote of thanks was delivered by AC Ralan Block, Lydia Odyu and benediction by Old Ralan Baptist Church, women leader, Zuthunglo Humtsoe. Others who attended the programme was village key stakeholders under RD Block Ralan, civil society organisations and DMMU and BMMU staff of NSRLM.
