
Two minor children including a physically challenged, who were rescued in Dimapur were currently under the care of Childline Dimapur. According to Childline Dimapur centre coordinator, Lozua Kape, one of them aged around 12 years, deaf and dumb, was found by a concern citizen near Delux point on September 3, and handed over to East Police station. The child was later handed over to Childline Dimapur. The other one has been identified as Chotu, aged around five, son of Firush was found loitering in Half Nagarjan. The child was handed over to Childline Dimapur by East Police station on August 11. The minor could not provide any other information besides his name and father’s name. In this regard, Childline Dimapur has requested the citizen to help the children reunite with their family/guardian.
