
National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (Divyangjan) Navi Mumbai in collaboration with Cherry Blossom Society distributed Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) kits to the students with Intellectual Disabilities at PHQ Conference Hall, Kohima here on September 9.
Speaking on the occasion, deputy director Social Welfare, Toshili Zhimomi said that TLM will help the functional academics of the students and applauded to the institute for providing such assistance to the children. Around 25 students from Jo Foundation and Cherry Blossoms received the Teaching Learning Materials kits.
Director and assistant professor CRC Davengere Karnataka, Dr. Gnanvel and lecture in special education, NIEPIE RC Navi, Mumbai Ravi Prakash Singh also graced the occasion.
The programme was chaired by Purnima Kayina and Associate pastor of Sumi Baptist church Kohima Holito Arkha blessed the programme with a prayer.
