KSC EU jubilee celebration underway

Evangelical Union Kohima Science college (Autonomous) Jotsoma golden jubilee with the theme “Jubilation to His faithfulness” got underway at auditorium Kohima Science College Jotsoma on Saturday.

State secretary, Union of Evangelical  students of India (UESI) –Nagaland Moatoshi Imsong speaking on the inaugural service urged the gathering to celebrate jubilee in the way God wanted and in His will. 

He reminded that the jubilee celebration was a time of forgiveness and reverting back to God as the truth and rightful owner of “our” lives.  Based on jubilee theme, Imsong said jubilee should be celebrated with joy for what the Lord has done. 

Zonal secretary UESI-NE zone Lanu Tzudir in his address encouraged the students to face the challenges in life with Christ and live a life worthy to be called as children of God. He recalled that Kohima Science College has produced many responsible citizens, who are assets of the state. 

Principal Kohima Science  College Jotsoma Dr. Lily Sema and Oponlumi Humtsoe also addressed the gathering.  

Earlier, jubilee monolith was unveiled by state secretary UESI–Nagaland Moatoshi Imsong, while Bokato Hesso led the dedication and unveiling of the monolith.

Inaugural service was led by president EU KSCJ Mongshai T.M, Bible reading by Akuozüvi Kajiri, invocation prayer by Rev. John Kamei, welcome address by Er. Khoto Zetsuvi, special songs were presented by jubilee choir and Calvary Baptist Church Phezhu Jotsoma, while vote of thanks was proposed by Lithrongla Sangtam.

On Sunday morning at 10 a.m and evening service at 4 p.m, former general secretary Asia pacific Baptist Federation Rev. Bonny Resu will speak the Word of Christ.
