
CATC 25 Nagaland (I) Coy, Mokokchung, organised trekking camp, 18 to 20 Km excursion-cum-trek to Impur Demo village and missionary centre, under leadership of deputy camp commandant, Nurul Islam and training officer, Tuzwar.
According to PRO, cadets en route visited self sustainable homes earning income through organic means, such as piggery, fishery, rabbit farming, rain water harvesting and distilling, honey culture and chicken farming.
Further, the cadets were taught with battle craft and field craft and compass navigation en route and patrolling norms with hand signals while on the way to Impur.
Meanwhile, Mokokchung Sakhi-OSC delivered a talk on November 5 during 25 NL (I) COY NCC Mokokchung Combine Annual Training 2019 at CRPF Camp, DEF Mokokchung under Commandant Col. Ahlawat.
A press release from Sakhi-OSC Mokokchung stated that Wangshinaro Yaden centre administrator of Sakhi-OSC presented a lecture on the topic “information technology act/ cyber crime 2000” and “protection of children from sexual offences (POCSO) Act 2012” with NCC cadets.
