CRC leaders conference in Bangkok

The second Christian Revival Church International Leaders Conference (CRCILC) with the theme “I will give you the nations” was held at the Church of Christ, Bangkok, Thailand from November 19 to 21. 

A press release by Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) stated that, resource persons for the conference were NCRC mission director Rev. Dr. Imcha Yanger, NCRC president Rev Dr. N. Paphino and vice president, For Asia Evangelism Explosion International Malaysia, Rev. Voon Yuen Woh.

Rev. Woh, a Chinese origin who migrated to Malaysia shared his testimony about how he started the church in Malaysia, which is around 29 years old. Rev. Rev. Woh, who travelled around the world to preach the gospel left his job in 1990 to work for God’s glory. Rev.Woh said he had organized about 1800 training events till 2018 and has about 60 thousand churches under Explosion Evangelism (EE). Highlighting the importance of international preaching, he said preaching within own church or state was not enough and said that “Gospel preaching outside the church is a must”. 

Rev. N Paphino in his message shared about the existence of CRC in Nagaland, which came into existence with God’s revelation in 1958 and its formation on January 9, 1962. He added that NCRC celebrated golden jubilee in 2012.

Expressing his gratitude for choosing Bangkok as the venue for CRCILC Rev. Israkul said that Thailand needed more missionaries and mission works where only one percent was Christian out of 70 million people. 

Delegates from Africa, China, Malayasia, Nepal, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh attended the conference. 

Altogether 110 delegates participated in the conference. The next conference would be held at Kula Lampur, Malaysia which would be hosted by Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, Malaysia. The house selected Rev. N. Paphino as the convener and Rev. Tai Ete as the secretary for the CRC International Fellowship 2020.

Resource person of the conference, NCRC mission director, Rev .Dr. Imcha Yanger spoke on the topic “Here we stand”. The conference concluded with group talk by Dr. Komuni Tow on the topic “the recent trends of CRC women’s role in the church”, “the challenges of youth” by Rev. Tai Ete and “prayerful leader” by Rev. Vangpong. The three-day conference was organized by Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) with Rev Dr. Israkul David Thamungraksat as the local coordinator.
