NNC (Parent Body) calls for “Naga national unity” keeping the best interest of “our future for freedom”.
In a press note, NNC information & publicity wing said it was imperative for Nagas, particularly the national workers, to unite at this critical and crucial stage of a political solution with Government of India. There cannot be a political solution with fragmented opinion and self- interest agendas, it added.
NNC lamented that the most unfortunate part was internal hatred and division amongst the various political groups, which was destructive and jeopardising the entire Naga people’s future.
Therefore, NNC said the council “with an open heart appeal and urge to all the groups to sincerely come together for National Unity for the sake of our future if we truly love and stand for our Homeland and our future generation.”
Meanwhile, NNC reminded about its general meeting on November 28 at Lotha Region, and has invited all concerned people and NNC members far and near in particular to attend the meeting positively in the interest of peace and unity in the Naga homeland.
