SJU conducts interactive session on skills development

Career guidance & placement cell of St. Joseph University (SJU) organised a programme on “Interactive session on skills development” on February 20.

A press release from SJU, PRO Fr. Savari stated that, first speaker Dr. Yan Murry spoke on, “A talk on skill and career building”, wherein he highlighted about the importance of soft skills and other job opportunities.  Second speaker Seth Morgan from South Africa explained on aquaponic farming where he is currently working. He advised the participants to be passionate about their work and never stop working for community. He stressed on three points, namely, put God first, look out for people and learn about making money. 

Third speaker Devlin Timmerman from South Africa said that in order to run a business successfully a person should know his interest well.  Devlin ended with great encouraging words of not fearing the future, to stay loyal, love the family and be truthful.  

Earlier, welcome address was given by Rajesh Tanti, placement coordinator and vote of thanks proposed by Ronjamo of MBA 1st semester.
