Department of Management Studies (BBA), C-Edge College (CEC), Dimapur, undertook industrial visit to Cane Concept based in Dimapur, a pioneering unit in cane and bamboo sector in North East India.
A press release from C-Edge College stated that, the purpose of the visit was to provide students insight regarding internal working of company, helping them to combine theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge, and also to ensure industrial exposure and interaction.
Proprietor and founder of Cane Concept, Jesmina Zeliang, conducted an interaction with students and faculty members about how she started and continued her entrepreneurial journey.
A tour was also conducted around cane concept unit, where students’ experienced and learnt more about various products and its production process.
