WC grateful to state agencies combating COVID-19

Working Committee of the NNPGs has expressed its “profound gratitude to and solidarity” with healthcare workers in Nagaland in particular and across the world in general for donning the warrior’s mantle in the battle against COVID-19 pandemic. 

In a statement, WC termed the battle against coronavirus as a war of a different kind, where doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers, who were at the forefront day and night risking their very lives, were the real heroes. “We salute the brave medical personnel on the ground,” the committee declared. WC, NNPG also extended appreciation to Nagaland government and various law enforcing agencies working in tandem to ensure that the dreaded virus was kept at bay.
