April 12, 2020 | by admin

Deputy chief minister Y Patton on Sunday appealed to every citizen of the State to adhere to all the guidelines and advisories issued by the government from time to time and not get complacent over reports of no coronavirus positive cases.

Patton said that the state government along with frontline workers and all stakeholders had been working tirelessly round the clock to contain the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic into Nagaland since the start of the national lockdown.

In a message, Patton thanked almighty God for His unconditional providence upon the people thus far, besides the frontline workers for their sacrifices during these trying times.

The deputy chief minister further acknowledged the selfless services rendered by health workers, police, media personnel, district administration, village councils and numerous NGOs and the general public for their remarkable contribution in the fight against the global pandemic.

He also appealed to all BJP legislators and workers to continue their proactive roles in helping the needy ones during the crisis. Patton also expressed his appreciation to all police men and women for their selfless service by leaving behind their own families during this lockdown. This was stated in a DIPR release.
