Wholesale medical shops along the Christian Literature Centre (CLC) lane, Nyamo Lotha Road (Church Road) Dimapur would be permitted to open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon with effect from April 20, 2020.
In an order, the deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi, informed that shops located on the opposite side would remain sealed till further order.
The order also stated that only retail shops with permit/passes issued by the Nagaland Medical Dealers Association (NMDA) would be allowed to procure medicine/medical equipments from the medical wholesale shops, adding that no individual customers would be allowed.
Further, the order said that the following precautionary measures were to be mandatorily observed: mandatorily keep hand sanitiser or provide facilities for hand washing with soap and water for the public as well as for their own staff/workers. Further, the proprietor of the shops and establishments should regularly get the door handles, surfaces and other objects frequently touched by people cleaned and disinfected.
