ATMA conducts training on cut flowers at New Wokha village

ATMA, Wokha block conducted training on cut flowers production at New Wokha village on June 10. A press release from ATMA Wokha stated that, resource person for the programme was Megokhonu Meyase, SMS horticulturist KVK Wokha along with Mhalo Tungoe PPD convener ATMA SMS (extension) KVK Wokha, Elilo Kikon ATM, Lily Tungoe ATM, Wokha block. Resource person stressed on the production of cut flower, importance of floriculture, protected cultivation, nutrient management, marketing scopes of cut flowers, insects, pests and disease management of floriculture. Altogether 10 farmers attended the training programme. Neem oil, garden gloves were also distributed among the farmers along with face mask, hand sanitizers and pamphlets.
