Dimapur BSL-2 lab work in final stage

The ongoing work of the Bio-Safety Lab level 2 (BSL-2) in Dimapur was in its final stage of completion. Informing this to media persons, HPC spokespersons– minister Neiba Kronu and adviser Mmhonlumo Kikon said the verification and registration process with ICMR will start and the lab would be functional soon. 

Further, in order to decongest the capacity at COVID-19 hospitals in Dimapur, 1 CCC at SIHFW, Chumukedimato would be made as COVID care centre, managed by CIHSR. Further, a 50 bedded COVID-19 Hospital has also been operationalised by the Assam Rifles at ARTC, Shokhuvi.
