
Active cases: 86 Recovered: 109
With 6 more patients– four from Dimapur and two from Peren district– having recovered from COVID-19 in Nagaland, the active cases in the state has come down to 86 with 56% recovery rate.
Further, in a late night development, two fresh cases were reported from Mon district quarantine centre. With this the state’s tally stood at 195– 86 active and 109 recovered cases.
The six recovered patients have been shifted to their respective COVID care centres while the positive cases were shifted to the COVID-19 hospital for treatment.
As per the severity of symptoms, all the 86 active cases were asymptomatic.
Results of 978 waited: Till date, a total of 7670 COVID-19 suspected samples were sent for testing and results of 6692 samples were received while the results of 978 samples were awaited.
Out of the 7670 samples, 5010 samples were sent to BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) for testing till today, and the result of 4,169 samples have been received, and out of which 137 samples had tested positive.
Currently a total of 7969 persons were presently under facility quarantine and 1709 persons under home quarantine.
