Chessore Area Public Forum (CAPF) and Chessore Area Anganwadi Union (CAAU) have appealed the concerned authority to retain the service of CDPO Ekonthung.
In a press release, the CAPF president Y. Kiumukam and general secretary, R. Akhum stated that, the ICDS project was neglected for many decades “due to non functioning by then designated officers.” However, when CDPO Ekonthung was posted to Chessore, he revived the ICDS project which saw great improvement through his relentless efforts. In this regard, the CAPF and CAAU expressed dismay at the transfer of the said officer and is apprehensive that the area would experience neglect of the ICDS projects when he leaves.
CAPF and CAAU have therefore appealed that the officer is retained to the same post at Chessore for greater benefit of all. CAPF also requested the LDA under SDO (Civil) Chessore to be present at his place of posting at Chessore within July month.
