
The dead bodies of four out of six NSCN (I-M) cadres killed in a joint operation carried out by Indian Army, Assam Rifles and Arunachal Police on July 11 near Nginu in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh were brought to Dimapur on Thursday.
According to sources, the bodies were brought in ambulances from Arunachal Pradesh. After getting clearance from the authorities, two bodies were buried in Dimapur while the other two were taken by road to Ukhrul, Manipur. State police forces escorted the body till the Nagaland-Manipur border. Sources also said that the other two bodies– one of them a native of Arunachal Pradesh, was buried there while the other body was taken to his home town, NC Hills.
