While urging the member secretary, Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) Kohima, for immediate intervention for smooth conduct of the odd semester (offline) LLB examination, the Nagaland Law Students Federation (NLSF) also appealed the NSLSA to direct respective DLSA for issuing necessary steps in the interest and safety of the law students.
A press release by NLSF president C. Talimoa and info & publicity secretary Renbeni Ezung expressed apprehension about the impact that would be brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It stated that many students of the three law colleges in the state – Kohima Law College, Mokokchung Law College and City Law College, Dimapur would face difficulties and challenges in numerous ways on their way to sit for the examination. While the tentative examination of LLB odd semester (offline mode) has been released beginning from October 5, the NLSF pointed out that outstation students from far-flung areas and neighbouring state may face many factors that could hinder the smooth conduct of examination. In this regard, the NLSF has appealed for intervention by the concerned authority.
