Maintaining COVID-19 SOPs, a felicitation programme was held for outstanding performers of AISSC examination 2020 (Class XII) at Delhi Public School (DPS) Dimapur on October 3.
A press release by its principal B.K Nanda stated that the programme was attended by chairman, Dimapur Public School Society S.I. Jamir, treasurer, Dimapur Public School Society, Maronen Jamir, parents, principal, teachers and staff.
This year’s AISSCE results witnessed a re-scripting of all achievements where a record number of 45 students scored 90% and above.
Ansa Sam from science stream topped with 98% followed by Satemnuchetla Longchari and Chirag Maheswari from arts & commerce stream scoring 97.8%.
DPS Dimapur has been achieving 100% results and 100% 1st division for the last eight years in a row.
Meanwhile, 21 students who scored 95% and above were given cash prizes and additional cash prize to Ansa Sam for a new record.
24 students who scored 90%-94.8% were also awarded with cash prizes each.
