DoSE on immigrant/emigrant laborers’ children admissions
December 3, 2020 | by admin

In order to facilitate admissions of children of immigrant (in-migrant) and emigrant (out-migrant) labourers, the Department of School Education (DoSE) is preparing a data base of immigrant/ emigrant labourers in regards to the state of Nagaland.
All concerned have been requested to register details of such labourers in any of the nearby government schools (GPS/GMS/GHS/GHSS) during the period from December 4 to 22. All government schools in the state have been directed to give admission to any child who has recently returned back to Nagaland without asking for any other documents except, some identity proof.
Information provided by the child’s parents will be assumed to be correct and taken as such for giving admission to the child in the relevant class in his/her neighbourhood government school. Public leaders, NGOs and well-wishers have been requested to advise all immigrant/emigrant labourers of their localities to get them registered at nearby government schools and assist the department in ensuring that all eligible children continue studies without any hindrance.
