Noting that the three farm laws introduced by the BJP government at the Centre was for the interest of the farmers, the BJP Kisan Morcha Nagaland unit has appealed to the protesting farmer organisations to withdraw their agitation by respecting the order of the Supreme Court and openly suggest for amendment before the committee constituted by the Supreme Court.
In a press statement, BJP kissan morcha Nagaland, Er. Senkathung Jami and general secretary, T. Mirhu stated that the Supreme Court has ordered a stay in the three agrarian reform laws till further orders.
The farmers have been demanding revocation of the three farm laws which was introduced by centre. The Kisan Morcha claimed that dialogue between the centre and farmers’ organisations was “consistently positive but the opposition and other organisation misguided the peasant organisation under the agenda, due to which one or two points could not be agreed upon”.
