No new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the State on Friday while the active cases also dropped to 9.
The total caseload as on February 26 stood at 12198 and 11946 patients have recuperated from the infection.
Meanwhile, State health & family welfare Friday informed that a total of 35,262 doses of the Covishield vaccine have been administered across the state for healthcare and frontline workers till date.
State Immunization Officer (UIP) Dr. Ritu Thurr said that as of today, 10,159 healthcare workers have been vaccinated with a coverage of 48% and 19,606 frontline workers have received the vaccine with a coverage of 37%. Dr. Thurr said that no major adverse events needing medical intervention has been reported till date.
Dr.Thurr stated that last date for first dose vaccination of frontline workers would be March 1, 2021, followed mop up sessions till March 6, 2021.
