KSU condemns firing at ITC DAN, Pangsha

In a press release, KSU president, Shangchiu and general secretary, Pusho P stated that the incident has caused fear and apprehension to the citizens inhabiting the area as well as the Khiamniungan citizens in general. The union stated that such incident disrupts the functioning of the schools and the union’s prioritized concerns were affected.  In this connection, the KSU once again reaffirmed the appealed for relocation of Assam Rifle camp from the village in respect to innocent public safety. 

In compliance to the statement proposed by the Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC), the union urged the State government for the immediate creation of border magistrate.
