CM, LoP call on Amit Shah in Delhi

 Urges Centre for early solution to the Naga pol issue 

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio and the Leader of Opposition (LoP) TR Zeliang along with minister Tongpang Ozukum and advisors Mmhonlumo Kikon and H Khehovi Yepthomi called on union home minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday.
Taking to twitter, the chief minister said they urged the government of India to expedite the peace process and bring about an early and honourable solution to the Naga political issue. 
Rio said the delegation held a positive meeting. “We urged the GoI to expedite the peace process and bring about an early and honourable solution to the Naga political issue,” Rio tweeted.
Rio also met union minister of state (i/c) for youth affairs & sports Kiren Rijiju and discussed implementation of the vision plan for Nagaland’s sports development.
“Had a robust meeting with @KirenRijiju, Hon’ble Minister @YASMinistry. We discussed implementation of the vision plan for Nagaland’s sports development which aims at sporting excellence from grassroots to national & intl. level. I thank him for his unwavering support to Nagaland,” he said.
Rijiju also took to twitter and said “I’m happy to see a visionary sports presentation for Nagaland State from the Chief Minister @Neiphiu_Rio Ji. I assured him maximum support to implement the sports development plan for excellence as well as grassroots development!”
