NSCN (I-M) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of khapur Sh. Shongsir Monsang on April 13.He enrolled in the Naga national service in 2017.
In a condolence note through its MIP, NSCN (I-M) said that he served the “Naga nation” with unwavering patriotism until his demise and the void created by his demise would be deeply felt and difficult to fill in.
It also stated that his selfless contributions to the “Naga national cause,” would be recorded in the pages of Naga history and his sacrifice for the “Naga nation” would be cherished by all.
Further, NSCN (I-M) conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for his spirit to rest in eternal peace.
