Nagaland on Monday recorded 55 fresh Covid-19 positive cases from across the State– 38 in Dimapur, 9 in Kohima 3 each in Mokokchung and Mon and 1 each in Kiphire and Longleng, taking the total caseload to 13238.
With this the active cases also rose to 727 while three more patients recovered from the infection.
Further, with regard passengers arriving Dimapur by air and having tested positive, it has been reported that 47 passengers out of 74 samples (total 258 passengers arrived) that were taken on April 21 had tested positive for Covid.
On April 22, out of 139 samples that were taken from 383 passengers, the reports of 103 returned positive. On April 23, out of 49 samples taken from 231 passengers, the reports of 2 persons had returned positive.
Meanwhile, altogether 1,86,350 beneficiaries have been administered the Covid vaccine. State immunization officer (UIP), Dr. Ritu Thurr said 147656 persons received the first dose and second dose administered to 38694 till April 26.
