
A webinar on “CBCS: Guideline and Implementation” was organised by planning committee of Sao Chang College (SCC) Tuensang Tuesday with professor Dipak Sinha, department of chemistry and director, IQAC Nagaland University, Lumami.
A press release by the college stated that the online seminar was organised for the faculty of Sao Chang College with an objective to explain in detail the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) that was to be implemented in higher education.
While talking about the various aspects of the new system, Prof. Sinha also explained the reasons why shifting from marks system to credit system was more beneficial to students.
The seminar started with a welcome address by associate professor, Dr. Iris Odyuo, department of history and concluded with a vote of thanks by assistant professor Dr. Shokip Tumtin, department of chemistry.
