AR conduct various activities

Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) conducted various activities.

Kohima battalion: of Assam Rilfles organised a lecture on “Aayushman Bharat” on the theme “empowerment through awareness and information” on October 22 at Kezo Town, Kohima.

According to PRO IGAR (N), the lecture was aimed at imparting awareness of “Aayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana” (AB-PMJAY) scheme to the locals. Altogether, 25 villagers attended the lecture.

Tuensang battalion: Tuensang battalion organised a lecture & interactive session to motivate students to join Sainik School Pungalwa, at Bumei village, Mon.

The lecture was aimed at spreading awareness on how to join Sainik school and the benefits of joining the school. The lecture which was conducted at Government High School Bumei Village was attended by the students of Kasturba Ghandhi Balika Vidhyalaya. Altogether, 147 students and teachers including 103 attended the session.
