Peren District Athletics Association (PDAA) has condemned the raid carried out by Assam Rifles at the private residence of Roko Angami on the wee hours of October 29.
In a condemnation note, PDAA president Elia Nring and secretary Chamchangbo said that it was “unfortunate and unexpected” that the residence of Roko Angami, a former international footballer and also the president of Nagaland Football Coaches Association was raided by 1st Assam Rifles in his absence.
It condemned “such character assassination” to a well-known sportsman.
