
St. Joseph University (SJU) Dimapur and National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 23 at the Conference Hall, NIT Dimapur.
In a press release, SJU Dimapur informed that the MoU was signed by NIT Nagaland director Dr. S. Venugopal and SJU vice-chancellor Dr. D. Gnanadurai in the presence of in the presence of NIT in-charge professor R. Kumar- Registrar, SJU registrar Dr. A. Anthonisan, NIT dean academics Dr. Amrit Puzari, SJU deputy registrar Sr. M. Thaines Mary, SJU PRO Fr. L. Savariappan, deans and HoDs from NIT and SJU.
In his address. Dr. S. Venugopal highlighted the importance of the MoU, its impact on teaching and learning process, implementation of National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and benefits to the student community.
Dr. D. Gnanadurai suggested to conduct collaborative research by the faculty members, research guidance to the scholars, knowledge sharing through conferences and technical hands-on workshops effectively to make the students knowledgeable and employable.
The MoU process was coordinated by NIT head data centre, professor J. Arul Valan and the vote of thanks was delivered by NIT registrar, professor R Kumar.
