Vogue Entertainment Nagaland (VEN) has announced the first edition of Miss Hornbill International to be held during the Hornbill Festival 2021.
This was announced during a press conference by managing director VEN, Dode Nakro at Crescent International Hotel on Wednesday. Nakro informed that the Miss Hornbill International is set to launch a unique crown, having the touch of the Hornbill bird and the stature of the current 12 districts of Nagaland, which will be one of the substantial highlights of the mega event.
He said that VEN has proposed the Tourism Department to be a partner organizer of the event. He informed that VEN is in the process of creating a website, where interested contestants between the ages of 18 to 26 years can apply. Nakro also stated that VEN would like to venture this new event here in Nagaland to create a wider platform not only for Nagas but for everyone across the globe, building relationships amongst regions and countries, thus making it an international event that would be open to participants beyond Nagaland and the Northeast.
