Nagaland Conservatory of Music organises Winter Concert Series 2021

 After a break of two years as a consequence of the ‘COVID-lockdown’, Nagaland Conservatory of Music (NCM) held its annual Winter Concert Series 2021 at Dimapur Christian Fellowship, Darogapathar to great satisfaction of a very enthusiastic audience.

They performed a wide repertoire of 21st century sacred works, Asian compositions and Christmas carols.

It may be mentioned that Nagaland Conservatory of Music (NCM) was instituted in the year 2012 with a mission to prepare students as musicians, scholars, teachers, and to provide the community with quality performance.

Since its inception, NCM has represented India in various international platforms and is a key contributor to the choral scene in the country.

Nagaland Conservatory of Music choir (previously known as Nagaland Singing Ambassadors) have progressed under many acclaimed musicians, namely, James Shikiye Swu, Noel De La Rosa, Lipokmar Tzudir and is now currently led by Hito Kiho and incidentally all of them studied music in the Philippines.

The last of the Winter Concert Series 2021 is slated to be on December 3 at Rengma Baptist Church, Kohima – Daklene, and is supported by TaFMA, government of Nagaland.
