In view of the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic in the country, and in view of the rapid surge in Covid cases, the state government has reactivated the ‘State Level War Room (SLWR) on Covid-19’.
The war room will be headed by chief secretary and chairperson of State Executive Committee, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) with members from the key line departments and will operate at the chief secretary’s conference hall in Nagaland civil secretariat, Kohima. SLWR will ensure unity of command and control in the fight against Covid-19.
It will further ensure sharing of all the relevant information on real time basis so that prompt and effective action is taken by the concerned departments/ officials/agencies for preventing the spread of Covid-19, as well as to make prompt necessary interventions, whenever required, for further strengthening the health infrastructure and the clinical management of the Covid-19 patients.
