Rising Youth, youth wing of Rising People’s Party (RPP) has stated that the patience and understanding of the Yimkhiung tribal body (YTC) and Yimkhiung people, has been further slapped by the “opposition less government” by forming another “unnecessary Third party committee” to study the Shamator district demand.
In an open letter, convenor of Rising Youth, Zali Zakaria R stated that deception of the ruling government has deeply hurt the sentiments of the Yimkhiungru people. The convenor said in view of the proposed Cabinet meeting and a promised of “positive response” by the ruling coalition for the formation of Shamator district, the YTC had “stayed” the demand for the mass resignation of all the NDPP party leaders, party workers and the MLAs”.
Stating that opposition-less coalition government should not misinterpret the fortitude and composure of the Yimkhiung Nagas for frailty, the youth body demanded that the Shamator district be announced at the earliest without “political partisanship”.
