India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that scattered to fairly widespread rainfall was very likely over North East region. In its bulletin, IMD stated that the confluence of winds from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal at lower tropospheric levels was very likely over the east and adjoining central India during next 4-5 days. Under the influence of above systems, IMD said scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/snowfall very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during January 11-13, 2022.
