Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) organized Phomli Open Beat Contest-II 2022 as part of its 69th general conference held on the theme “Sember Ad Meliora” from January 10-14, 2022.
The contest was powered by Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) and graced by TaFMA advisor Theja Meru as the special guest. The contest witnessed Version2 as guest band and special appearance by Bu-OO-li Fusion band.
Adams Family band (Tangha Students Union) was adjudged as the winner while The Bohemians (Yaongyimchen Students Union) and Dream Project (Hukphang Students Union) bagged 1st and 2nd runner- up respectively.
Individual winners included Best Vocalist- Tsuknung (The Bohemians); Best Guitarist- Shahly (Adams Family); Best Bassist- Bauman (Dream Project); Best Drummer- Metjei (Adams Family) and Best Keyboardist- Honmoi (The Bohemians).
