
Nagaland governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y Patton have extended greetings to the Khiamniungan community members on the occasion of Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah.
Prof. Mukhi said the festival, which advocates peaceful co-existence, friendship and reconciliation, also provides a platform for the youngsters to learn the rich and unique cultural values of the Khiamniungans.
Taking to twitter, Rio prayed that the festival foster peace, reconciliation and strengthen bonds and for abundant blessings in the year ahead.
Patton said the festival was time for making and renewing friendships. He also wished the community members joy, peace and tranquillity.
