Joint Co-ordination Committee of Villages (JCCV) under Dhansiripar sub-division resolved to hold a public rally at Dhansiripar on February 10 at 10 am against the State government’s silence over the grievances of 45 villages communicated through public representations by various organisations.
Informing this in a statement, JCCV convener Lughozhe Swu, co-convener Tsithrongse Sangtam and secretary Devendra Rana said that the rally would be followed by submission of representation to the government through SDO Dhansiripar calling for review of the December 20, 2021 notification without further delay.
The meeting lamented that the government was maintaining silence despite the grievances having been highlighted through public representations submitted by Aqahuto Tokukujo Kukami Kughakulu on November 13, 2021, Sema-Dimasa Union, Dhansiripar sub-division on December 22, 2021 and Dimasa Public Organisation on January 4 this year in connection with the jurisdiction notified for the newly created district of ChĂĽmoukedima.
