Firing range for NCC cadets inaugurated

DIMAPUR: A modern computer-based simulator firing range for NCC cadets of Nagaland was inaugurated on April 13 by NCC group commander Brigadier Praveen Singh Sangwan in the 1 Naga Girls NCC battalion premises behind Sainik Bhawan, Kohima.
According to PIB (Defence Wing), the simulator-based firing range has the facility to fire with 22 rifles in simulated conditions akin to the actual firing range of 25 meters in lying, kneeling, sitting or standing positions.
The group commander expressed hope that the simulator-based firing range would help in training a greater number of cadets and result in their improved performance in the actual firing.
