Assam Rifles Jalukie battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a Yoga Camp and fitness session and seminar-cum-awareness on tourism and hotel management on May 9.
According to AR source, Jalukie battalions conducted Yoga camp and fitness session for the students of Heraka School, Tening.
The students were also briefed about importance of practising yoga in daily life for a healthy lifestyle. A of total of 81 students participated in the event.
The battalion in collaboration with Pragati Edu tech, Guwahati conducted seminar-cum-awareness programme on Tourism & Hotel Management for local youth at Peren Town Hall.
At the event, local youth was given awareness on various job opportunities available in private and public sector as per their qualifications and capabilities. The team laid emphasis on numerous employment opportunities in Tourism and Hotel Management, in which they could be provided with, free of cost courses, for three months with free hostel facilities at Pragati Edu tech Institute, Guwahati. The seminar was attended by 60 local youth in and around Peren Town.
Registration forms for upcoming courses were also distributed among the youths.
