Kma traffic order for heavy vehicles

Due to heavy traffic congestion in and around Kohima town, especially during the peak hours, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohima has prohibited entry of heavy goods vehicles (trucks/ dumpers) in Kohima town from 6am till 7pm. In an order, DC Kohima Shanavas C stated that all permits issued to private and government vehicles (trucks/dumpers) to ply within the restricted hours stand cancelled. DC cautioned that violation of the order would invite stern penalty under relevant provisions of the law.
