Due to landslides and rockfalls near Dikhu Bridge on NH-702 along the Chantongya-Longleng road, all vehicular movement, including light motor vehicles (LMVs), have been restricted starting September 15, 2023, between 7am and 6pm till further notice.
Travelers have been advised to avoid using the route during the restricted period. One could instead take the alternative route [Longleng-Chingtok (IR Camp)-Merangkong-Netnyu].
