Evok Furniture Store opens in Kohima

In a first of its kind in Kohima, the first Evok Furniture Store in the capital and the second in Nagaland was inaugurated in Kohima on Monday at Tin patti junction on Monday.

Speaking in the inaugural, Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso (Dr Ato) MLA, maintained that the establishment of such a store would address the customer requirements for the citizens and stressed on the need to enhance and ensure sustainable urban facilities in Kohima city.

Pointing out that Kohima won the Zonal Best Smart City Awards for the Northeast Zone in the India Smart Cities Awards (ISCA) 2022, he said it was important that Kohima continued to dedicate its efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance citizen services, and implement sustainable urban practices. He said that with the opening of the Evok store in Kohima, it has given the city a bonus point.

Earlier, the invocation was pronounced by senior pastor Baptist Revival Church Kohima, Rev. Khrieneilie Sachü while Kenei Sorhie presented special number.
