NDPP 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency, in collaboration with department of Health & Family Welfare, has commenced a weeklong Beneficiary Identification Drive (BIS) for AB-PMJAY CMHIS (Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme) in the whole constituency.
A press release by NDPP 29 Jangpetkong A/C, through its Media & Publicity Cell, informed that the special drive was sponsored by advisor, Transport and Technical Education, Temjenmenba, and supervised by NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC office.
Formally kicking off the drive at Chungliyimsen village, NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC president, Aodangnok, said that the special drive was initiated keeping in mind the health and wellbeing of the constituency people. He expressed appreciation to the advisor for sponsoring the special drive and department for collaborating with the NDPP and reaching out to villagers, who could not come to register.
Noting that health of a person was unpredictable, he maintained that once a person registers as a beneficiary, the scheme would be a great relief in covering the medical expenses during hospitalization.
He therefore urged the citizens under the constituency to avail the opportunity and register their names and get their health insurance benefits.
The release further informed that a team of NDPP and medical department personnel from CMO office, Mokokchung would be camping at the Assembly Constituency during the whole week to ensure that every entitled beneficiary was covered.
